Optical Illusions builds — and books, and promotes, and electrifies — live events across the DC metro and Mid-Atlantic: festival stages, immersive installations, electronic music concerts. The experience behind the company runs deeper still — nationally televised broadcasts and Lost Lands Music Festival among them. Our designs have been replicated worldwide. A few hundred dance floors don't hurt either.

Optical Illusions Productions produces and promotes live events — from electronic music concerts featuring international DJs to large-scale immersive installations and stage builds.
Led by founder Jairo Vargas Jr., the company handles full event logistics: artist booking and hospitality, promotion and marketing, stage design, and production.
Beyond our own events, Jairo brings over twenty years of hands-on production experience from large-scale projects — nationally televised broadcasts, multi-day festival builds, and stadium-scale electrical production. That direct experience with how things actually get built at scale is what OI brings to every project.
